1. Who We Are

GalleyHub (galleyhub.io) is a platform connecting private aviation operators with catering providers. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

2. What We Collect

Account data: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and billing information when you create a partner account.

Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, search queries, clicks, and interactions with listings. We track this to provide analytics to our partners and improve the platform.

Order data: When you submit a quote request, we store the order details, contact email, and flight information to facilitate communication between operators and caterers.

Payment data: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: operate and improve the platform; display caterer listings to operators; provide analytics dashboards to partners; send transactional emails (order confirmations, account updates); process payments; and communicate important platform updates.

4. Email Communications

We send transactional emails related to your account (welcome, order notifications, payment updates). We may also send occasional marketing emails about platform features. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Transactional emails cannot be disabled while your account is active.

We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) as our email service provider.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with: Stripe (payment processing); Supabase (database hosting); Brevo (email delivery). We do not sell your data to third parties.

When an operator sends a quote request, your contact email is shared with the operator so you can communicate directly. This is the core function of the platform.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records).

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; export your data; and withdraw consent for marketing communications. Contact us at contact@galleyhub.io to exercise these rights.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or sell cookie data.

9. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS, bcrypt for passwords) and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available.
